The lagoon

Following the renovation of their home in Aix-en-Provence, our clients commissioned us to design a garden where every area invites relaxation. The goal was to create an outdoor space evoking the atmosphere of a tropical lagoon while blending naturally into the Provençal landscape.

 

At the heart of the project lies a lagoon-style pool featuring a submerged entry, serving as the garden's centerpiece. A wooden deck, curved terraces, and tropical-inspired vegetation create an exotic setting designed to feel like a true holiday retreat.

 

Two wooden decks extend from the living room and the master suite, establishing a natural flow between the house and the garden. Near the pool, a pergola shelters a wooden bar, creating a perfect spot for socializing.

 

Dry-stone walls, stepping-stone paths, and carefully chosen plantings complete this landscape design, where comfort, elegance, and a sense of escape come together.
