A corner of paradise

Following the renovation of their home in Aubagne, our clients entrusted us with the complete design of their outdoor spaces to create a true little slice of paradise, incorporating the existing swimming pool.

 

We envisioned a relaxation area surrounding the pool that blends travertine, wood, and Corten steel. Large schist stepping stones connect the terrace to the house, while stone planters showcase the existing olive trees.

 

Stone terraces were built on either side of the garden steps to better manage the change in elevation and provide new planting areas that reinforce the garden's Mediterranean character.

 

Delighted with this initial project, the owners commissioned us the following year to landscape the property's entrance. A large landscaped bed now structures the slope, which is traversed by a custom-made Corten steel staircase. Large natural stone slabs and unstructured travertine steps lead up to the house, creating an elegant entrance that integrates seamlessly into the landscape.
