Les Mondevelles

Morvan • 2026

HERITAGE • NATURE • SERENITY

Following a fire that severely damaged the property, this authentic stone house in the Morvan region underwent a complete renovation designed to unlock the site's full potential while honoring its history. This time, IDO Jardins also redesigned the entire interior of the house.

The project focused on opening up the landscape: one of the two barns was demolished to reveal a view of the pond below. Remnant stone structures were preserved and integrated into the garden, now serving as planters and vegetable beds.

We also constructed a raised wooden deck adjoining the house, as well as a second terrace made of timber sleepers in the heart of the garden, shaded by a coconut-fiber sail.

The project extended to the restoration of an old fountain and the creation of a wooden jetty leading to the pond.

A project where heritage, landscape, and contemporary living converge to breathe new life into an exceptional setting.
