The Getaway

After building their home in Éguilles, our clients wanted to create a natural, contemporary Mediterranean garden that was easy to maintain while ensuring privacy from the neighbors. Our task was to structure the various living areas and leverage the site's sloping terrain to create an outdoor space that was as functional as it was elegant.

 

The entrance was completely redesigned to include a discreetly integrated parking area, a natural stone staircase leading to the house, and wooden stepping stones connecting the various access points. A custom-made pergola and entrance porch extend the living areas while providing shaded spots.

 

A dry-stone wall naturally follows the change in elevation leading to the pool area, which was positioned to align with the existing pool house. Surrounding the pool, a spacious Ipe deck, a wooden bar, and a built-in masonry bench create a welcoming atmosphere for socializing, while an outdoor shower is nestled within a Mediterranean planting bed. The landscaping, new fencing, and coconut-fiber privacy screens ensure complete seclusion while enhancing the garden's warm, authentic feel.
