Discovery of an extraordinary garden in New Zealand

A garden at the end of the world, 2019

This garden located near Queenstown in New Zealand was created by José Becwart on approximately two hectares right next to a large lake originating from a glacier.

The wetland has allowed an exceptional development of the plants . Many structures and sculptures have been added over the years. In addition, a whole water path comprising many basins segments the spaces.

For about five years , we have been discussing José and I on the various arrangements and plantings that he could make to complete his garden.

So at the end of 2019, I went to see him and we worked together for a week to plant new varieties of perennials and grasses from all over the world.
